Kevin, upon further inspection it seems Amazon has sold out of that particular item. I will certainly update this post now to reflect that. Bloody shame considering – but then again I can see why they are sold out. I’ll try to add some more goodies once I can get to my Asian Inspired Design series – which is tragically overdue on the blog.

Hi Kevin, sorry for the late reply but business has been booming for the company as of late. I guess the recession hasn’t stopped people from wanting their reno work finished lol!

They are available at Amazon – via that link, and yes – they are really very attractive additions to an Asian themed room. Since I live in Sapporo, Japan, I have a special fondness for Japanese styles. Two rooms in our “mansion” (about the size of a two-car garage in Seattle, where we used to live) are tatami rooms, and have the original tatami flooring. We took the carpet out of one of the rooms, and will the second sometime this year.
